Greetings and prayers: It is hard to believe that the month of August is almost over and under normal circumstances our children would be going back to school and college.
Dear Faith Formation Families: As you are well aware the corona virus has temporarily changed our way of life and how we interact with each other. Our work, schooling and worshipping have all had to be reimagined. We are glad that the church has been allowed to resume the celebration of Mass once again. At Good Shepherd we have opened our doors for the celebration of the Eucharist, and we continue to livestream the Mass for those who feel more comfortable minimizing interaction with others. All while following the CDC guidelines and diocesan policies. Click on title for more info and the FAITH FORMATION tab for forms.
First Eucharist will be celebrated on Saturday, October 3rd at 10:00am and 12:30pm as assigned. The reception of Confirmation will be on Monday, October 5th at 7:30pm. More information to follow.
The Mass times are Saturday at 5:00pm, Sunday at 9:00am, 10:30am and noon. The 5:00pm and 10:30am Masses will continue to be live streamed for those individuals who feel more comfortable celebrating the Liturgy at home. Sunday 7:30 AM Masses will resume during Lent. Please check the website for continued updates.
Easter 2020 Greetings and prayers: “Few things are more unnerving than the spread of a disease in epidemic or pandemic proportions. In such a time of uncertainty, it can be tempting to give into fear and panic. A better response for Catholics though, is one that is forward thinking and based on reason, prudence, and reliance on God. “(OSV) Please click on title to read more.
