The journey of faith is never ending. As members of the Body of Christ, it is important for us to continually develop our spiritual life through prayer, participation in the Sacraments, and a seeking of the truth. While it is essential for adults to develop their spiritual life for their own good, it is equally as important to provide an example to young adults and children, who strive to emulate their parents and other adults around them.
Ongoing Adult Faith Formation can take place in many ways. Participation in Liturgical Ministries such as serving as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion or Lectors can involve you more in the celebration of the Mass. Taking part in our parish activities through Social Outreach or Bible Study can be another way adults can deepen their spiritual life.
Bible Study
Through our Bible Study program, groups get together to break open the Word of God and hold discussions with varying perpectives. Bible Study is facilitated by Deacon Keith Harris and Mrs. Kathy Kantenwein and is held two semesters each year, in the Fall and in the Spring. It is held once a week with the option of an evening, Tuesdays 7:30-9:00 pm, or during the day, Thursdays 1:00-2:30 pm. Bible Study will resume in the Fall of 2015.
